POST 8: ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES

 On this occasion I will talk about the challenges that speaking English has brought me.


My process of learning English has been very irregular, I have had classes at the university, but I have never really taken it very seriously, I even feel that the vast majority of things I know is because I consume a lot of movies and music in English , as well as games. so the need has led me to learn, the problem with this is that I have not learned the grammar rules very well, so I feel very insecure when speaking, I usually make many mistakes, but I know I can give myself to understand... so i think it´s something haha. Also I think i understand very well when I listen to people talking in English.

The course I'm in now has helped me a lot to understand some rules, and blogs are fun to do, but I must confess that on many occasions I use a translator, but in any case it serves as an educational process, i don´t know all the words so i think is something necesary to do.

I don't normally use English, but I have traveled to Europe to play, and many people communicate in English, I made a Swedish friend and it was very entertaining to talk with him ... obviously he talked much better English haha, but when you face the need there is no escape, and eventually people get used to your accent, even mistakes (wich i think is not really good).

  Hello, today I'm going to talk about a country that I would like to visit. I have always felt a fascination for traveling and lately I have fantasized about knowing the cold countries of Europe, I mean the countries of northern Europe, among all those I have found out, Norway has caught my attention, but not for a cultural issue, but rather because of the landscapes I have been able to appreciate on the internet. Norway is known to have many ancient towns, rich in architecture, beautiful mountains, rivers, ancient forests and gigantic lakes There are medieval wooden churches called "stavkirke" that are more than 800 years old, formerly these were all over Europe, but today those that survive are almost all confined in Norway, it is a very particular style of architecture, which i would love to know. That is the reason why I would like to travel as a tourist, because to continue my studies, I have thought about other countries that have a richer classical music tradition

POST 7: CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

  I am currently studying musical interpretation with a mention in classical guitar, and I was very enthusiastic about studying this career and once you enter, you realize that there are many things that meet your expectations, but many others do not. Mainly I feel that the career has not been updated to modern times, I understand that a music conservatory is very traditional, and in fact I like it that way, because maintaining a tradition of more than 500 years is really beautiful and interesting, it is travel to the past through music. But nowadays, in order to develop in the classical music scene, it is very important to have DIY tools, such as managing social networks, audio and video recordings and editing. Even to compete in classical guitar competitions, you must send a video in the first stage, to apply for scholarships, masters or doctorates as well. It is also very common to see classical musicians whose careers have started thanks to YouTube or Instagram. and today they are

POST 2: BEST HOLIDAYS/CONCERT EVER

 Hello, today I will talk about a vacation that I had a long time ago, when I was finishing school. That summer my cousin and i went to visit the south of Chile, it was a very interesting trip, because we went with very little money since I was 17 or 18 years old, we left in Santiago and we managed to get to Valdivia. Back then I would have liked to go further, but now thinking about it, at 17 years old and with almost no money, it was an achievement that I remember fondly to this day. At the beginning we decided to take a bus to Talca and tour the "cordillera de los andes" so we spent like one week in these sector, but then, from there we realized that if we wanted to spend more time traveling to the south, we should save the bus tickets, and we began to ask the truckers for rides , we discovered that some of them are very good people and also very drug addicts.  The truckers were leaving us in small towns and they gave us information about where we could see and know beauti
